Give your show the best chance of being a sell out....
My passion for theatre photography began two years ago after being offered the opportunity to photograph a theatre production for the Southwick Players, an experience that cemented my commitment to documenting live performance and the creative process behind it.
I specialise in theatre photography, including dress rehearsal photography, promotional photography, and behind-the-scenes storytelling for productions across Brighton and Sussex. I work closely with theatre companies and creative teams to capture the energy, emotion, and craftsmanship that bring a show to life—both onstage and behind the curtain.
From live dress rehearsal photography that preserves authentic performance moments, to studio-style promotional shoots using full professional lighting and generated backgrounds, I create high-quality images tailored for marketing, press releases, programmes, and archives. I also document the rehearsal and production journey through behind-the-scenes photography, highlighting the collaboration, detail, and atmosphere that make theatre unique.
Whether you need dynamic production images, striking promotional visuals, or candid rehearsal coverage, my work focuses on telling your story with clarity, drama, and respect for the art of theatre.
I also offer on-site actor headshot sessions, available as an add-on to your theatre photography booking or as a standalone service.
Theatre photography bookings are available throughout Brighton and Sussex.
An additional fee may apply for locations outside Sussex.

Dress rehearsals..
Dress rehearsal photography is essential because it captures a production exactly as the audience will experience it—fully costumed, lit, and performed, but without the pressure of a live crowd. It allows shows to document authentic moments of performance while preserving lighting design, staging, and atmosphere as intended. These images become invaluable for marketing, press, funding applications, and archives, offering a true visual record of the production at its most complete and cohesive stage.

Promo shoots..
When I run promo shoots, I keep things relaxed, collaborative, and focused on what makes your show unique. I use full studio lighting and generated backgrounds to create strong, eye-catching images, while guiding performers so the shoot feels natural rather than posed. The aim is always to capture the tone, characters, and energy of the production, creating promotional images that feel true to the show and work seamlessly across posters, social media, and press.

Behind the scenes..
When I photograph behind the scenes at dress rehearsals, I work quietly and unobtrusively to capture the moments that happen in between the performance. From last-minute notes and costume adjustments to focused preparation and collaboration, these images tell the story of how a show comes together. It’s about documenting the process, the people, and the atmosphere, creating an honest record that celebrates the craft and teamwork behind the production.

Headshots..
When I photograph group actor headshots, I aim to keep the process efficient, relaxed, and consistent for everyone involved. I use professional lighting and clear direction to create clean, flattering images that still allow each actor’s personality to come through. Working as a group keeps the look cohesive while making the experience comfortable and supportive, resulting in strong, usable headshots for profiles, casting, and promotional material.
